Hi there! My name is Ivan Coninx and I am a photographer based in Mechelen, Belgium. The main subject of my photography work is aviation, but I’m also interested in meteorology, landscape and travel photography.
I started photography around the age of twelve when I visited my very first airshow and have been fascinated by photography ever since.
Over the past three decades I have traveled almost the entire globe and taken hundreds of thousands of photographs of all sorts of aircraft, ranging from vintage warbirds to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A380. During all these trips, I have also become a self-taught travel photographer. I never stop to be amazed by the beauty of vast landscapes, various wildlife and impressive cityscapes all over the world. I also try to capture the beauty of magnificent cloudscapes wherever and whenever possible.
I am happily married and a proud father of two.
