On Sunday 5 June 2016, Brussels Airlines hosted a special event at Brussels Airport to present its special Trident aircraft to fans and supporters of the national football team of Belgium, the Belgian Red Devils.
Five hundred lucky winners of a contest, organised by the Koninklijke Belgische Voetbalbond (KBVB) had the unique opportunity to meet Trident, one of the three Airbus A320’s that the airline has painted in a special livery inspired by Belgian icons.
After ‘Rackham’ and ‘Magritte’, Trident is the third Brussels Airlines Airbus A320 to be painted in a unique livery to promote one of the national prides of Belgium. The Belgian Red Devils are one of the biggest ambassadors of Belgium and Brussels Airlines is the official airline of the football team. The Belgian Red Devils themselves teamed up with designers to create this unique livery.
