Welcome to another edition of ‘A Brief Look At My Flickr Photos’. I will review some of the photos I uploaded to Flickr during the past month. For each photo I will share the following information:

In a nutshell, I hope these posts will not only help you to appreciate some of my Flickr photos, but will hopefully also assist you in becoming a better photographer yourself.
Now, let’s get started by reviewing some of my Flickr photos I uploaded in April 2022, shall we?
- Subject: Sun With AR 2991, 2993, 2994, 2995 and 2996
- Location: Mechelen, Belgium

- Comments: The Sun as seen through a Mylar filter, designed for solar observing. Clearly visible in this picture are five NOAA AR (Active Region): AR 2991, 2993, 2994, 2995 and 2996. The two biggest Active Regions are AR 2993 (19 sunspots), AR 2994 (8 sunspots) and AR 2995 (1 sunspot). In the past few years I have never seen so many sunspots on the solar surface so it is becoming more and more obvious that the solar activity is gradually increasing.

- Location: Brussels Airport (BRU/EBBR)
- Date & Time: April 17th 2022 – 12:24 LT
- Equipment: Canon EOS 7D Mk II | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM | Lowepro Flipside 400 AW
- Camera Settings: 100mm | 1/640s | f/8.0 | ISO100
- Comments: Takeoff RWY 07R. Flight SN325 BRU-ABJ-ROB. First Brussels Airlines Airbus A330 wearing the airline’s new livery.
- Subject: Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Airbus A320-251N LN-RGN
- Location: Brussels Airport (BRU/EBBR)
- Date & Time: April 17th 2022 – 12:06 LT
